Application Enablement

Enablement Solutions

Whether you are an established SaaS provider or a traditional ISV looking for a cost-effective way to deploy your application as a service, Sphera has a solution for you. Traditional ISVs are enabled using a combination of Sphera’s Software Enablement Kit and our unique application virtualization technology, which can transform traditional applications to fully SaaS enabled apps without modifying your application. Established SaaS providers can participate in the Sphera SaaS marketplace through the enablement of a Sphera Marketplace Adapter, which allows your application to be bundled, integrated, aggregated, and managed through a common platform.

Traditional Applications

Non-SaaS ISVs generally require massive R&D efforts in order to address all of the requirements for SaaS. Sphera allows thousands of existing applications and ISV's to participate in an application marketplace without application modification. Sphera has several different methods for delivering applications allowing ISVs the ability to deploy their applications in a highly-efficient manner using a common management interface, regardless of the application architecture, physical location, or enablement method.

Sphera’s virtual application container delivers all of the value-add functionality needed to transform a traditional application into a SaaS application with no additional application development. Click here to learn more about our virtualization methods >>

Established Saas Applications

Established SaaS providers can participate in the Sphera SaaS marketplace through the enablement of a Sphera Marketplace  Adapter, which allows your application to be bundled, integrated, aggregated, and managed through a common platform.

Sphera provides a common web services standard for integrating third-party applications into the Sphera ecosystem (apps that do not need the Sphera runtime environment and provide an external provisioning and management interface are ideal for this type of enablement). Sphera exposes many advanced integration features, including the ability to custom-design management interfaces (integrating directly with our existing self-service portal), leverage single-sign-on capabilities, provision and manage end-users, and allow customers to manage complex application settings from a consolidated interface.

Applications enabled with a Sphera Marketplace Adapter can live anywhere, geographically and simply integrate with any or all of the Sphera marketplaces instances deployed throughout the world.
